Christmas Card

Hi everyone!! I'm so sorry that I haven't posted anything new on this blog in a couple of weeks...life just got super hectic and I've had a super stressful week (my dad is in the hospital...he fell on Monday and they are still trying to determine why...so far doctors have found tumours in his head and possibly something in his lungs too).

Anyways, I've had made this card for a workshop on November 10th and just thought I would share it with you (I'd wanted to post it earlier this month but other things got in the way of my posting it).

I just love this Santa stamp from the Jolliest Time of the Year set (I think it's got to be one of my absolute favourite Christmas stamps this year)!! And I am so lovin' Petals-A-Plenty textured folder!!

Hope you enjoyed looking at my card...sorry that I don't have anything newer to share but I'm hoping to get the last of this year's Christmas cards made soon (once I figure out what's going on with my dad's health). Thanks for stopping by and hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

Oh, the weather outside is frightful...

Hi everyone! Hope that you're having better weather than I'm having! It was so gray and rainy all day...just the perfect kind of day to stay inside and make cards (once I got home from work that is). I've started my Christmas card making and wanted to share what I've made so far with you.

All the supplies are from Stampin' Up!. I used the Christmas Jingle Simply Scrappin' Kit, Stampin' Write Markers, Basic Black ink and Versa Mark ink, embossing powder, Whisper White organza ribbon, Top Note die, and a bunch of different stamp sets (Dasher, Good Cheer, Jolliest Time of the Year, Berry Christmas and Patterned Pines).

I'm pretty happy with how my cards turned out and glad that I've got a start on my Christmas cards (I'm going to devote at least one day in November to try and finish them all up). Thanks for stopping by to check out my creations and hope that you all have a great night!!

Christmas cards

Hi everyone...hope that you are all having a great weekend!! I just wanted to share some Christmas cards that I made a couple of weeks ago for a class that I had. All items used are from Stampin' Up!. The first card was made using Garden Green, Real Red, and Whisper White cardstock, Christmas Cocoa Specialty DSP, the Berry Christmas stamp set, Stampin' Write markers (Garden Green, Real Red, and Basic Black), my Top Notes die and Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter.

I got the idea for the second card (which is a gift card holder) for a lady (sorry that I can't remember who it was) on SCS but I changed it up a bit (I used the Top Note die like she did). I made this card with Real Red, Whisper White and Garden Green cardstock (which you can't see because it's on the inside), Petals-A-Plenty Stampin' Up! Textured Impressions Folder, Jolliest Time of the Year stamp set, Mistletoe Ribbon Originals, Stampin' Write markers, and Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my cards!!

Workshop Cards

Hi everyone! I'm really sorry that it's taken this long for me to post something new to my blog...I was sick from the end of June right until almost the end of July and I didn't do any crafting during that time. I finally got caught up on my crafting this past month and had my first party to celebrate the release of the new catalogue a week ago and I wanted to share the two cards that we made.

I knew I wanted to do one card showcasing some of the new in-colours, new DSP (Razzleberry Lemonade) and a new stamp set (Razzle Dazzle...love it!) and the other card had to be something to do with Christmas. Unfortunately, I don't have any of the new Christmas product from the new catalogue yet so I ended up using some retired items and the Branch out stamp set (which I love).

I'm really happy with how the cards turned out and I hope you enjoy looking at them. Thanks again for stopping by to check out what I've been making!

Workshop Wednesday!!

Hi everyone!! I hope you're all doing fantastic!! I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to post something new to this blog...life just got crazy there for a while but now it's slowing down again!!

I wanted to share with you a couple of cards that I will be demonstrating to a group of my friends tonight. My friend Carolyn decided to have a party and asked me to make some cards (but they had to be versatile cards for almost any occassion) so I said yes but told her that we should make the cards using stamps that weren't set to retire (and luckily she agreed).

Sorry that this post is so short but it's starting to thunder and get quite stormy looking outside, so I want to make sure this gets posted now (just in case the power goes out)!!

Thanks again for stopping by to check out my cards!! I promise that it won't take this long to post something new to this blog again!! Have a great night everyone!!

Workshop cards

Hi everyone! I hope that you are all doing well! I recently had my first workshop as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator on May 27th and wanted to share the two cards that we made.

I designed the first card using the Big Bold Birthday set (which is on the Last Chance list). I ended up tweaking it a little bit so that the Whisper White and Kiwi Kiss cardstock were a bit longer and added some glitter to the cupcake top for a little more oomph.

The second card was designed by my upline, Jackie, and I'm very grateful that she was able to help me out on that day. She chose the To Have And To Hold set (which is also on the Last Chance list), and even though I didn't get a chance to personally make this card (as I was helping people out with my card), I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my creations!! Hope you all have a great day!!
